QA Engineer

Overview:

We are actively seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to become a valuable member of our team in Amman, Jordan. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in quality assurance and testing, focusing on guaranteeing the reliability, functionality, and performance of our software products. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a meticulous approach to issue identification and documentation, are essential. Fluency in both English and Arabic, both written and verbal, is a prerequisite.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and areas for improvement.
Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure the prompt resolution of issues and the delivery of high-quality software.
Document and meticulously track defects using bug tracking systems, working closely with development teams to reproduce and resolve identified issues.
Perform root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Actively participate in product design and requirement reviews, providing valuable input on testability, usability, and quality considerations.
Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and QA trends to continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are preferred.
Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing, with a primary focus on web and mobile applications.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques, encompassing both manual and automated testing.
Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress is considered a significant advantage.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail in systematically identifying and documenting defects.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with team members at all levels.
Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
