AI Engineer

Overview: We are in search of a talented AI Engineer to join our team in Amman, Jordan. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. Proficiency in Python, C++, and Java is essential, along with a solid understanding of linear algebra, probability, and statistics. The candidate should be experienced in developing and implementing AI models, working with data pipelines and frameworks, and exploring new technologies. A self-motivated and proactive mindset, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic, is key.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Model Development: Research, build, and extend a variety of AI models, including generative AI models, multimodal (Speech, Vision, Language) models, speech-to-text models, text-to-speech models, among others.
Data Management: Collect and manage data automatically and manually for training ML/DL models.
Pre/Post Processors Development: Develop pre/post processors to enhance the efficiency of ML/DL models.
Framework and Tool Development: Build pipelines, frameworks, and tools for training ML/DL models.
Innovation Exploration: Explore new approaches and technologies by developing proof of concept (PoC).
Intellectual Property: File patents and publish papers showcasing innovative contributions.

Requirements:

Technical Proficiency:
- Experience in Linux OS and shell scripts.
- Proficiency in Git.
- Familiarity with Containerization concepts (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in one or more programming languages, including Python, C/C++, Java.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience in pre-trained & fine-tuning models.
- Experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Good understanding of Linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
- Familiarity with AI platforms such as Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Theano.
Skills and Attributes:
- Self-motivated and proactive, with multitasking and critical thinking capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English and Arabic.
