Market Research Analyst

Overview: Phaza Network is in search of a detail-oriented and analytical Market Research Analyst to join our team in Amman, Jordan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights. They should have a strong background in market research methodologies, data analysis tools, and report generation. The Market Research Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting strategic decision-making and driving business growth. Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal, is required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct primary and secondary market research to gather data on industry trends, market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  2. Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data using various research methods, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data mining techniques.
  3. Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for product innovation, differentiation, and growth.
  4. Generate detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and senior management.
  5. Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs), market metrics, and industry benchmarks to assess market potential, competitive positioning, and business opportunities.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to translate research insights into actionable strategies and initiatives.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
  8. Support business development activities, including lead generation, client pitches, and proposal development, by providing market insights and intelligence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in market research, data analysis, or a related field, with a strong understanding of market research methodologies, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SPSS, SAS, R, Python, or Tableau, to analyze and visualize complex datasets.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal, is required.
