UI / UX Designer

Overview:

Phaza Network is actively seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our innovative team in Amman, Jordan. The ideal candidate should have a passion for user-centric design and a strong understanding of both user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) principles. They must be skilled in creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile applications, with a focus on enhancing usability and accessibility. Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal, is required.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency and coherence across all platforms.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and stakeholder input, and incorporate best practices and industry standards.
Design user interfaces that are intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and user satisfaction.
Translate complex concepts and requirements into simple and elegant design solutions that meet both user and business goals.
Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs, and provide support and guidance throughout the development process.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design, and share knowledge and expertise with the team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field; relevant certifications or equivalent experience preferred.
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio of web and mobile applications and projects.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar, and familiarity with prototyping tools such as InVision or Marvel.
Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, design thinking methodologies, and usability heuristics.
Experience with user research methods, usability testing techniques, and user-centered design processes.
Strong visual design skills, with an eye for typography, color theory, and layout composition.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
